Management plane SDK for Azure API Management in .NET. Handles provisioning and configuration of APIM services, APIs, products, subscriptions, policies, users, groups, gateways, and backends through Azure Resource Manager.
It gives you strongly typed .NET objects and async long-running operation handling for APIM provisioning, which the Azure portal and ARM templates don't offer when you need to integrate API Management setup into existing .NET tooling.
When to use it
- Creating a new APIM service instance in a specific Azure region and SKU
- Registering a backend API with rate-limit policies applied at the API level
- Setting up product tiers with subscription keys for consumer access control
- Automating APIM configuration as part of a .NET-based infrastructure deployment pipeline
