What This Skill Does
Runs a persistent Playwright session inside a js_repl kernel to debug web and Electron apps without restarting the browser between iterations. Keeps browser, context, and page handles alive across code changes, so you reload or relaunch only what actually changed. Covers both functional QA and visual QA in the same session, with screenshot normalization helpers for CSS-pixel-accurate output.
Keeping the same browser session alive across edits cuts the overhead of repeated browser launches and avoids losing page state between iteration cycles, which matters when debugging stateful flows or Electron main-process timing.
When to use it
- Debugging a local Vite app by reloading only the renderer after a CSS change
- Testing an Electron desktop app window layout without relaunching the full process each time
- Running mobile viewport QA on a responsive page at 390x844 alongside a desktop pass
- Capturing CSS-scaled screenshots for model-assisted coordinate clicking in a running app
- Checking viewport fit and visible clipping in the initial load state before signoff
