Connects to Linear via MCP to read, create, and update issues, projects, and team workflows. Supports sprint planning, bug triage, workload balancing, and release planning through natural-language tool calls. Requires OAuth login to your Linear workspace.
Instead of switching between your editor and Linear to manually update dozens of issues, you can batch-create, label, assign, and comment on issues in a single conversational session.
When to use it
- Triaging critical bugs by priority and moving top items to In Progress
- Planning a sprint by pulling open issues and grouping them into a new cycle
- Auditing documentation gaps and opening labeled issues with specific fix notes
- Balancing team workload by listing issues per assignee and redistributing high-load items
