Reads a spec page in Notion, extracts requirements, and creates a linked implementation plan with individual tasks in your task database. Tracks progress as work moves forward and keeps bidirectional links between spec and tasks. Handles spec changes by updating the plan and flagging affected tasks.
Instead of manually copying requirements into tickets and losing the link to the original spec, this keeps specs and tasks connected so you can trace any task back to its requirement and push spec updates through automatically.
When to use it
- Converting a Notion PRD into a task database with per-ticket acceptance criteria
- Breaking a database migration spec into prioritized tasks with dependencies noted
- Propagating spec changes to existing tasks when requirements shift mid-sprint
- Logging daily progress notes in Notion tasks as implementation proceeds
- Tracing which tasks originated from which spec section when requirements conflict
