Reads and writes Google Slides presentations via the `gws` CLI. Supports creating blank presentations, fetching existing ones, and applying batched updates to slides, layouts, shapes, and other elements.
Instead of manually editing slides or writing raw API calls, you get a consistent CLI interface for scripting Slides changes alongside other Google Workspace operations.
When to use it
- Creating a new presentation with a specific ID from a script
- Fetching the current state of a presentation to inspect slide content
- Applying bulk edits to slide text, images, or formatting in one API call
- Automating slide generation from data without opening a browser
- Updating presentation titles or themes as part of a pipeline
