A CLI wrapper around the Google Drive v3 API. Manage files, folders, permissions, shared drives, comments, and revisions from the command line using the `gws` tool.
Instead of clicking through the Drive UI or writing OAuth boilerplate, you get direct API access to any Drive resource in one command.
When to use it
- Listing all files in a shared drive filtered by label or MIME type
- Revoking a specific user's permission on a file without opening the browser
- Downloading a Google Doc exported as PDF into a local directory
- Watching a folder for changes and piping events to a script
- Resolving pending access proposals on files you own
