Queries decoded onchain data on Base (events, transactions, blocks) through the CDP SQL API using x402 micropayments. Each query costs $0.10 in USDC and runs against indexed tables with a ClickHouse-based SQL dialect called CoinbaseQL.
Gives you direct SQL access to decoded Base chain data without running your own indexer or relying on block explorer APIs that rate-limit or lack query flexibility.
When to use it
- Looking up recent USDC transfers for a specific wallet address on Base
- Checking transaction history and gas usage for a contract you deployed
- Counting event types emitted by a smart contract in the last hour
- Pulling block-level stats like transaction count and gas used over time
- Tracking token Transfer and Approval events across known Base contracts
